One of the highest ranked posts ever on my blog - and a personal favorite - is Block Town: Spatial Play , about a building project at our son Hudson’s kindergarten, when he was six. I'm very happy that this has found such a large audience, since playing with blocks is such a crucial part of childhood. It builds spatial (three dimensional) awareness, in a way that even the best 3D computer games can't! Please revisit it and enjoy what was a very special time in Hudson's life (Paradise is the same age now and loves blocks, too).
